Get to know the Golden Grass 

Golden grass (Syngonanthus nitens) is a species of the Eriocaulaceae family, it grows in humid fields near paths in several regions of the  tropical savanna. In the region of Jalapão, located in the state of Tocantins Brazil.

Its strands have a golden color that reflect a metallic shine, an effect that combines several factors of the regional flora including the high concentration of aluminum in the soil of the region.
